IndyJones1023
I have tried loading disk images off 4 different net sources and none will boot. I keep getting a "mount device error." Any ideas what's wrong?
tschak909
Hi. can you please run the FujiNet flasher, and press the Debug Monitor button, and paste the information, when you try to boot an image? https://fujinet.online/download/ -Thom
IndyJones1023
There is nothing to select in the Serial port dialog box and there is no Debug Monitor button.
tschak909
(1) make sure the FujiNet device is attached to your computer (2) restart the flasher (3) press Serial Debug Output -Thom
IndyJones1023
I tried and it didn't work. Still nothing to select in the serial port menu. I closed the flasher again, unplugged the FujiNet, plugged it back into a different USB port, right-clicked on the flasher, Ran as Administrator - still nothing to select. That was all with the FujiNet off. I then redid everything but turned the FujiNet on before running the flasher. Still nothing comes up. IndyJones1023
Okay, I glossed over that. Now it's working. I hit the Serial Debug Output and see this.
tschak909
Good. As you use the FujiNet, debugging information should appear in the window. -Thom
IndyJones1023
I'm supposed to have it plugged into my computer while using it on the Atari? They're in different rooms. Can't do that.

tschak909
The debugging information I am asking about is to try and see what you could be doing wrong. Failing that, Explain the steps you are using to mount an image? -Thom
IndyJones1023
Should I try to just flash the firmware and hope that works? I just bought the FujiNet a couple months ago and have used it about 4 times.
tschak909
you can, but I don't think that's your problem. -Thom
IndyJones1023
I dug out an old netbook, but the FujiFlasher is 64-bit, I guess, because it doesn't run on the old girl.
IndyJones1023
I am using a work laptop and get this:
IndyJones1023
Scrolling up a bit I see some errors.
IndyJones1023
Now it doesn't display the error message, it just reboots to the Atari Memo Pad screen.
tschak909
What is host #2 ? The server is stating there is an error opening the image. -Thom
IndyJones1023
Not sure. By that do you mean which TNFS server? If so, I have tried 3 or 4 and they all fail.
tschak909
That is _VERY_ strange. Have you tried loading from the local SD card slot? Also, have you checked the [C]onfig screen to see if everything is okay ? -Thom
IndyJones1023
I was able to load Asteroids from the SD slot. I don't know what to look for in the Config screen. But since I can surf TNFS servers, I am guessing it's on the net, so that shouldn't be the issue.

tschak909
ok. If this computer is working with other peripherals, I would say something wrong with the FujiNet hardware. -Thom
