bluejay
As you may remember I broke my Mac SE CRT neck a while back and can now afford to replace it. A seller on Facebook offered me a CRT which he already packed for shipping and doesn’t recall what Mac it was pulled out of. The last time I took apart my 512Ke I was sure it wasn’t the same one that was in my SE, but the seller says otherwise. So, do every compact Mac have interchangeable CRTs, or are there certain incompatible ones (apart from, of course, the Color Classic)? bluejay
Nevermind, found a 68kmla post on this. Replaced the CRT with the one inside my 512Ke since I need that less than I need my SE. The thing works fine now.
Papalapa
So, we can conclude that both CRTs are fully compatible, right?

The cables that connect the CRT and the analog board are different, but the plug that connects to the CRT is the same, so it doesn’t really matter.
