ubersaurus
Game historian Kate Willaert has been hard at work the past few months trying to figure out the history behind the Atari porno games and these two labels, sifting through old periodicals, interviews, and more. It's absolutely bonkers, and led to her getting it published on Kotaku. I highly recommend checking it out: https://kotaku.com/porno-hustlers-of-the-atari-age-1847622176 14
Thomas Jentzsch
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.
Supergun
That was indeed a very detailed and interesting read. I learned many new things about those games that I didn’t know before and it answered several questions.
+jeremiahjt
Interesting read. Also I have never heard of the Suncom "Lefty" Joystick Adapter.
HammR25
Somehow I didn't know the Bachelor game exists, just the other two garbage games. Really well documented article. I thought it was pretty cool that @rolenta still had the business cards from back then.
Tempest
A female version of Custer's Revenge was created and released overseas as General Re-Treat. I wonder if it was made when the other female versions were created and just not released due to all the bad press the male version got or if it was made later on?
jhd
I am impressed that the author did research in sources that have not (yet) been digitized! -- some of which are rather obscure

It was only released in Europe on a double ender with a renamed Custer's Revenge (Westward Ho) and is rare over there too. In fact I don't think one actually showed up until about 10 or 12 years ago.
Rom Hunter
Interesting read and very well researched. Although I already knew most of this information, the Castlespring - Joel Martin connection was a surprise to me. Many thanks for sharing! Thomas Jentzsch
So there were 3 different PAL versions and only one NTSC version? What does that say about the target markets?

Mockduck
This is one of the best Atari history articles I've read in years, really glad the person did the work.

Just people getting their heads blown off or set on fire, etc. Violence is required, nudity - how dare! The best explanation I heard for this, is the country was founded by people so uptight and puritanical they left England for being too hedonistic, then came over here and burned witches alive. 2

+Atari_Warlord
Excellent article. I'm hoping to add some more to some of the companies I've researched if I can ever get over to the library of congress and view the material on file. It's crazy rare, I've never even seen a boxed one. Like Tempest mentioned, I don't think it was proven to even exist until the early 2000's
