First play-though:  (To be fair, I've played the original web version many times before)

Then I hit the button, expecting to continue... but of course, I got caught off-guard by the "couch-compliant" reset. Oops.

Does the game let you continue on from this point, or is this the end of the game?

Nice.

The game just stops there (if you were playing with a high score device, you could save your score).

If there is ever a cart release I'd probably go back and allow unlimited play, or up the tiles to 4096 or higher perhaps.

If we go for a cart release then maybe I'll revisit to add "unlimited" play or something like that :)

But would that make the digital download unavailable? The physical version would probably end up costing SOMETHING...

Thanks to @Albert for getting 2048 ready to release at the show for folks wanting a physical copy of the game & thanks to folks who picked up a copy :)

I plan to donate any royalties from 2048 to a charity that supports research into dementia and Alzheimers.

Oh wow I have supported Alzheimer's research and work in a facility for patients who suffer from Alzheimer's.  It's a very sad disease and one that not many people understand. With all that said thank you for donating any of your proceeds to the cause. It's a kind thing to do.
