Chandler
Anyone in the USA or with a USA 110/117V model SC 1224 colour monitor with Goldstar tube / PSU Could you post a picture please of the open end of the PSU where the wire connections plug into it, there are a few with white plugs I need to see the colours of the wires and even better where they go! Only a USA 110/117V model please (no UK or European 220/240V types as they are different) If anyone can help that would be great

Chandler
No the PSU connections inside the monitor I need to see all the white plug connectors and the colour wires at the end of the PSU When you remove the SC 1224 rear plastic cover with the screen facing away from you On the left hand side of the monitor is the PSU (Power Supply Unit) I just need a picture of the top of this

Chandler
Max2000 I don't suppose you could post some pics of where the wires go to on the main PCB? eg: the red and green plug at the end of the PSU pic, it would be helpful to see where they go on the board Thanks! max2000
This is the closest I could get without taking things apart. You can see the white/green wire in the middle of the second image further in.
Chandler
Thanks so much, this is really helpful Could you also confirm regarding the red and blue wire that plugs into the PSU at the far end (mains in) Which colour goes to live and neutral on the 3 pin input plug on the back of the monitor And that's all! thanks :0)
max2000
Blue is neutral, red is hot. From the inside (PCB) of the monitor, looking outward to the back, blue is on the left, red on the right.
Chandler
If it is possible i wouldn't mind seeing there 2 x orange wires on the back of the rotary power switch :0)
max2000
One closer to the tube at the PSU is also closer to the tube at the switch.
