Simek
Alright here's the deal: I got my Jag out of storage yesterday to play Tempest 2000. I have a question for anyone that can answer me. How do you get to the rings in the jupiter bonus that are are twice as high or low from the river as the rest of the rings? It's really frustrating. Stone
Don't miss the rings containing the up/down arrows; they boost you upwards or downwards so you can continue the river Enjoy. Stone

Simek
So should I be pressing up as I'm going through them to get higher?
Gunstar
quote: Originally posted by Simek: So should I be pressing up as I'm going through them to get higher? There are several things you cand do. First off, if you go straight through an arrow ring it will automatically send you higher/lower. You can press up/down when going through the rings with arrows to propel you higher/lower, or go through the ring closer to the top/bottom edge to get you higher/lower, or a combination of all of the above. Also, in some cases, no matter what you do, the game will allow you to just barely scrape through the top or bottom of the rings your jumping/falling too. They are the rings at the maximum distance out. It may look like your going to miss it, but if your perfectly centered, it'll give you the minimum 250 bonus and let you pass. Hope this helps.
