atarifan49 Posted August 15, 2004 Share Posted August 15, 2004 He needs a cable that should be marked IEEE 1284 on it. One that has all 25 pins connected. I happen to make my own by get two crimp on connectors and a long ribbon cable (25 conductor). I find the ribbon cable has less weight to it so that there isn't too much weight being held by the Alpine board (I have my dev system sitting up on top of a computer desk with the cable going down and behind the desk).
