justclaws
Hello, I asked about this somewhere else but.... Can anyone recommend any of the Jag prototypes from b & c computervision? I already have Wayne Gretzgy Hockey any other help would be appreciated Personally I recommend Space War 2000, I think it's great, obviously a proto, still rather flaky, but very interesting fun at a very basic shoot things and fly around in 3D space way. Also, the Charles Barkley basketball is a good game, but not as good as NBA Jam (which was released of course) and it lacks sound effects, seemingly the only missing bit of the game. (There are some, but games are played in silence, with just music(?) but no commentary and so on.) The CD items for the PC are fascinating, but the CD items for Jaguar in my opinion are largely unnecessary stuff... most alpha release prototypes are interesting but no fun, and unless you're a die-hard collector, you don't need them. The HQ CD they sell has amazing content, for PC though, particularly if you're keen to develop or nosy about Atari. Cheers, JustClaws.
