Nintendo DS D-liciousness

Hey, check out this footage of the Nintendo DS in action. Some of these games look really enticing, like the platformer with Baby Mario, the sequel to Legend of the Mystical Ninja (about time!), and the virtual pet simulation, featuring incredibly lifelike puppies.

Article in the newspaper the other day about the DS. They said the system was impressive but some of the controls for the games are extremely clumsy. As an example, they talked about Metroid DS where you control the aiming & jumping with the stylus, movement with the pad, and firing with the shoulder button.

 

Sounds very, very weird to me but I'd have to try it before passing judgement.

I heard that they've since much improved the controls in Metroid.
