Rom Hunter
This really is an impressive sight! My compliments. FND, I have some questions: What exactly does this mean: T-05 - FUNVISION Spider Monster/K-TEL Vulture AttackT-04 - FUNVISION Time Warp/K-TEL Vulture Attack Isn't Funvision's Spider Monster the same game as K-Tel's Spider Maze?Isn't Funvision's Space Monster the same game as K-Tel's Vulture Attack? What game is Funvision's Time Warp? Which ones are PAL and which ones are NTSC? Can you please show me some game screenshots of your Funvision and K-Tel games? Thanks! I hope you'll find that blue one. It really belongs there. Edited June 1, 2005 by Rom Hunter

I havent tested these games in awhile but I believe onlu the games I listed as funvision are PAL the rest are NTSC Screen shots can be seen here on AA for the Condor Attack, Vulture Attack and Spider Maze. I will post some screen shots of the Tron games here in the next few days

If it is, does it have the Funvision logo on screen? And Space Monster from Funvision is this (PAL) game: http://www.atariage.com/screenshot_page.ht...wareLabelID=767 in a K-Tel Vulture Attack (NTSC) cartridge? If it is, does it have the Funvision logo on screen? Screen shots can be seen here on AA for the Condor Attack, Vulture Attack and Spider Maze. The problem is that AA doesn't have any Funvision screenshots and I really would like to know if the Funvision logo is on screen. Sorry to bother you with such specific questions, but it really helps me to solve the "Funvision puzzle" (by far the hardest to crack). Thanks! moycon
Wow Very impressive. Any hint as too how much $ you have tied up in these carts? Was it a choice between a 2005 Convertable Mustang or this lot?? Seems to me I've seen some of these go for thousands, is that right?? Good stuff

It makes me sick to think that I could have bought some of these games as a kid at a drug store in Detroit called Cunningham's, they carried all things K-Tel in there store, but those games looked so bad that I did not want to spend the money. FND
Wow Very impressive.Any hint as too how much $ you have tied up in these carts? exactly 902.24 which includes the cost of shipping, the most expensive parts were the K-Tel Vulture Attack and Spider Maze Boxes Seems to me I've seen some of these go for thousands, is that right?? If any were a light shade of blue then maybe, but the carts here are more in the 100 to 200 range.

I agree if it were not for the cool T-Handle case I doubt many would want them even today. If it is, does it have the Funvision logo on screen? OK here are the screen shoots but be advised these are PAL format games and I don't have a compatible system so the screen shoots are pretty screwy but the Funvision name is visible I included the three different games on the demo and one screen shot with the funvision name, the funvision only shows up for a split second after you die so it took some time to finaly capture the shot And Space Monster from Funvision is this (PAL) game:http://www.atariage.com/screenshot_page.ht...wareLabelID=767 in an old K-Tel Vulture Attack (NTSC) cartridge? If it is, does it have the Funvision logo on screen? Again these are PAL format so the screen shoots are screwy on this game the name FUNVISION is at the top left side and barley visible as I believe it should really be at the bottom anyway I did the best I could to get a picture of it
Rom Hunter
FND, I want to thank you! This is exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks again! Rom Hunter
This leaves me with a new question: Do PAL T-handle cartridges from K-Tel actually exist? (I mean with the K-Tel name on it and not with a Funvision label stuck over it) Edited June 2, 2005 by Rom Hunter

Right you are. Here's a K-Tel label stuck over an Ultravision label: And here are two Funvision V-case style Ultravision games and a Funvision T-handle Condor Attack: BTW: notice that the (originally T-handle) labels are too big for the V-grooved cartridges. And don't forget Goliath too. Their two T-handles are: Condor Attack (#4) and Spider Kong (#6): And one look at their box is enough to see the link: Goliath: BTW: Notice the mention of the Ultravision console on the box. Funvision: K-Tel: They are all connected... Edited September 12, 2005 by Rom Hunter

FND
Also since the funvision Time warp I have is also the same game as the Zellers version they are also connected to the others. So let see Ultravision, K-Tel, Funvision, Zellers, AND Goliath have have the same art work, cases and basicly the same games (possibly only company name additions) Something just struck me I don't think I have ever seen any of these games with the the name on the screen besides funvision, as all my other games don't have the company name displayed. its quite possible the main top player of these games was Funvision and all the others came from there Begining to look even more feasable that there is a connection at the very top of these companys and all were getting cases, label art and even rom images from the same place. Oh by the way that Spider Maze box is the one in my collection, has the same sticker with 148 on it
FND
Notice the screen shot here at AA for the K-TEL Spider Maze says FUNVISION on the screen http://www.atariage.com/screenshot_page.ht...wareLabelID=

Goliath did also put its name on the screen: Astro Attack (Goliath - Hot Shot) Condor Attack (Goliath) Spider Kong (Goliath) And here's Ocean City Defender from Zellers (with the Funvision logo!): Ocean City Defender (Zellers) Take a look at the symbol before the Funvision name. It's the same as the one before the Goliath name. Spirantho has a T-handle with a Goliath title and number on the label: Spider Kong The game is Spider Kong (PAL) with the Funvision (!) logo on screen, which is quite unique, because the Goliath T-handle Spider Kong with the official label (see post #17) has the Goliath logo on screen. This suggests that Funvision came before Goliath. Other Goliath games like Sea Monster and Phantom Tank carry the Puzzy logo on screen. Eventually it all leads to Bit Corp, I'm afraid. FND
This all seems to run pretty deep and it obvious Rom Hunter has been following this for quite sometime so I accept Bit Corp is most likey at the top of the pile, good work and thanks for the pictures and info. BTW looks near impossible to get all the different T handle carts that I was hoping to finish one day
Rom Hunter
I'm sure you'll be the proud owner of all of them someday, FND (including the Blue One). BTW: It's thanks to pictures like the one of your collection that information can be collected in the first place. And your screenshots really helped me to erase some question marks about Funvision (one of the most mysterious companies in the history of the A2600).
