Tecmo Classic Arcade for Xbox is defective

Recommended Posts

I bought Tecmo Classic Arcade for Xbox a few days ago and the only game in the batch that seems to have a problem is Swimmer. The sound randomly messes up and kind of cuts in and out in a strange way.

Anyone else have that problem? I'm going to take it back and get a new copy in a few days, but I thought I would check to make sure they aren't all like that.

Update: Swimmer's sound seems to be messed on on every disc. If you like that game, don't bother buying this collection.

Am I the only person who has played this on the Xbox?

I really want to get the Xbox version, went to Wal-Mart last night and they only offered the PS2 version. Came really close to getting Capcom Classic Collection for the Xbox but I wanted to wait until I got both.

Wow, there are some other collections I didn't know about. Thanks. I need to check out Capcom Classics Collection and Taito Legends.

Does the same thing for me Random Terrain.

Thanks. They won't let you get your money back, so if all copies are messed up, I guess you're stuck with it.

I got a replacement game and it has the same problem. They said I can get my money back if this one does not work right, so that's what I'm going to do as soon as I can get back to that part of town.

How hard is it to make sure all the games work right, especially when the collection is so small?

Doesn't Tecmo make exclusively games for microsort?

No.

Rygar, Trapt and the Fatal Frame series is on the PS2 as well.

They do have a tendancy to make more "marketable" games on the Xbox though like Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden (which kicks ass).

Get Ninja Gaiden now if you haven't.
