I not only have played games since Day 1 of home video games, but during the 80's played them before most people even saw them. Now that's "FUN"!!! Aren't you Nolan Bushnell? Joystick Jolter
NO! He is a litte older than I am. I have actually talked to the man though. In fact my thoughts on him are rather fascinating. I rank him as one of the most important figures in the computer evolution. Had it not been for the home gaming industry, which no matter what you think, he is the father of, the evolution of the computer would have taken many more years to reach even its current position in our lives. My belief is that had not so many people been involved in the playing of games on both dedicated game machines and computers, manufacturers would never have moved with the speed they did. The gaming industry pushed profits of those involved in computers in the home to such heights that they used every dollar available for R+D to be able to keep up with the "WANTS" of every gamer. Take away the gaming industry from the computer industry and companies would have had no reason to spend the way they did on R+D. So it is in my mind anyway. How did this get so off subject? Leave it to me. Old people and rambling on.
Nateo
My DOB is 6/25/87, and that makes me fourteen. My first system was a Super NES that I got Christmas of '96. My first computer was a Tandy 1000 that my dad bought two years before I was born.
liveinabin
I quite agree, Joystick Jolter. I think it was Eugene Jarvis who said "The only legitimate use of a computer is to play games"
