What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?

And you forgot to mention that this "productivity software" was pure crap esp. in comparison to the Sinclair QL which came with very good productivity software by Psion and was aimed at a similar customer profile (SOHO) and - considering the fact that thePlus/4 came without a 1551 floppy - at a comparable price.

Not to mention the C64 and other comparable computers like the 800XL had better productivity software than the Plus/4 to begin with. Luckily Commodore went and made up for the TED machines with the C128.

I've looked it up in the meantime. Originally, the TED based machines were aimed at the low-level entry computer market of the time to compete with the Timex/Sinclair machines and cheap computers from Japan like the VTech/Sanyo Laser 210 or Bit Technology Bit-90 (which never had success in either Europe or the USA), to replace the aging VIC-20, so the C116 presumably was the original design of that line. But after Commodore sacked Jack Tramiel, the new management apparently considered it a great idea to build an expensive computer based on this low-cost chip - apparently they thought the customers would fall for it.

I just bought a ST-157 SCSI drive to use with my MIO.

you mean ST-157N?

The ST-157 is an MFM/RLL drive...

Yes.. my bad. It is an ST-157N.

Kewl.. I think Ive got an ST-157N and an ST-138N on my personal MIO setup.. I think these are both 512byte/sector drives. Which means you get half the formatted capacity..

I use the ST-225N to test new MIOs..

Dropzone for 95p

I missed the bidding on Alley Cat and Zorro though. :(

Nice, Dropzone is another fave of mine. I just picked up Dig Dug and Basic bare carts. I never had a copy of Dig Dug and the basic cart was silver label which again I didn't have.

Good you missed Zorro. It's nothing but a bad Bruce Lee copycat job (I have it on the "Atari Aces" compilation).

Alley Cat was also available on English Software's "Atari Smash Hits Vol. 7" compilation.

Nah, not good for me, I love Zorro, got loads of great memories of playing it as a kid.

I also had that Atari Smash Hits Vol. 7 compilation, the tape didn't work though. I'd prefer to get the original Alley Cat anyway.
