Lauren Tyler
I'm really hoping (and praying) that I can get the GameCube version of Zelda. I know the Wii version is better, but as the last hurrah for the GameCube, I want to have the honor of owning a copy. Not to mention I'd like to be able to play as Link the way he always was: As a lefty.
shep
If pre-ordering doesn't guarantee you the game.. then what what the heck use is it? Why even offer it? That's why you follow shep's rule of thumb, NEVER Preorder. Especially for games. It seems like its the cool thing to do for Gamestop is to have preorders on some of the most random games when they are about a month from release. When you know you will be able to find it anywhere just fine.
MetalSlime23
I went back into Game Stop on Friday to get the stupid guide (because they didn't come in with the game). When I went in a guy behind me that didn't even pre-order the game purchased a new copy of Zelda for the Cube. I asked the manager "how did he do that when you couldn't even fill your pre-orders?" She said "Well, most people didn't pick them up." Needless to say I got pissed. I made my buddy stay up most of the day searching for a copy for me, and the stupid store still has them almost a week later. I hate Game Stop! Tempest
I walked into Circuit City last thursday and not only did they have 7 of them on the shelf, but it was on sale. The game and guide cost me $56 total. Tempest
MCHufnagel
This will teach anyone not to pre-order from Gamestop/EBgames. I was at my local Target last Saturday and they must have had 30 copies there. If there isn't a bonus attached to a pre-order why bother. Lauren Tyler
Well, on a happy note, I managed to swipe a copy for Christmas. My mother helped me out, but she said I could have it on Christmas Eve. Better than nothing I suppose.
Avid Fan
I found a whole box of them at Costco. I was very tempted. But I said no games for me until after christmas (well, I just had to grab the cheap used copy of SF Anniversary collection). My friend brought his Cube version over earlier today, and this game is really cool. More difficult than windwaker, which is a good thing. Famicoman
They suck ass around here. I waited 40 minutes for the guy to get me two xboxes, and when I undo them at home to hook them up, one doesn't work, and came with a playstation 2 video cable.
