I have to say somthing. Trevor Mcfur is a really good game i totally enjoy playing it. It gets knocked alot for its sound and no in level music, however does in level music for a space shooter really make or break a game? I personally don't think so. The formula of cool weapons and animals flying space ships seem to make a great space shooter game. Which i think trevor falls under.

Recent series that i think sucks is Katamari My best friend said he bought home alone (movie game) for the game boy back in 91 or 92 for $1 and still considers it to be his worst financial descision ever.

If you could have one RPG on the Jaguar (that met system requirements) what would it be?

I bought my copy on ebay for 20 bucks buy it now with shipping included it was only the cartridge no manual or box.

Only atari systems i have are the 7800 and the jaguar so outta those two id have to take the jag over the 7800. Once the nes came out the 7800 was moved to the basement. In contrast my Jag still sits proudly on my entertainment center right next to my Xbox 360.

ah yes the red screen of doom. Ive found that pressing down on a bad cartridge and holding down while you power the system on seems to work with my stubborn Tempest 2000 cartridge. I wuz so pissed when i got it that it didnt work it took me several min to get it to run. Speaking of holding games in while you power it on i used to stuff the guiness book of world records (1990 edition) into my nes back in the day to get that to work

mmmm....i guess its only opinion deep. I think its a very good space shooter game Ive played several other space shooters and i must admit this one I prolly like the most. Well starfox 64 is up there with it too. I take it as one of those like it or hate it type games. Like that stupid katamari game everyone thinks is fun.

Oh yes very close indeed. A cool thing is a few weeks ago i found out the midwest gaming classic is in Wisconsin so me and a friend of mine are going to head up there on June 10th hopefully some members of AA forums will be there will be awesome to talk bout games and see some of the items for sale regarding the jag.

tempest 2000 is awesome, and i too really like trevor mcfur despite it reviews. yes i enjoyed it alot! In fact it was the game that pulled me into my jaguar (tempest came later) It really gets knocked because of the lack of in game music, does anyone really want to listen to a space shooters in game music??? Dont get me wrong I enjoy in game music however I think it is defintely a solid game without it.

Thanks! its good to see so many jag fans. Ive had my jag since 99 got it at a video game exchange store, came with eight games and kinda took a shine to it. Played the 7800 alot when I was a young'un so was naturally drawn to the Jaguar. Fav games for it are tempest 2000, Trevor Mcfur (better than R-type if you ask me) and Doom (best version of doom) wish I had more cash to purchase more games but with school and a girlfriend taking my money makes it kinda hard.

ah is that what it is. I myself have found myself in a bidding war against sweetstuff on more than one occassion. Thank you very much for the info. I won those battles (however lost the war I paid more than I wanted to) oh well what can I say I have a soft spot for the jag.

Speaking of that does anyone possibly know if there is price fixing on items for jaguar on ebay? I wonder if im just paranoid....
