I recently purchased my first Atari 7800, I already am addicted to my 2600 and my 5400. I purchased this item off Ebay and it was accompanied by 6 games all of which were shrinkwrapped in their orginal boxes and had never been opened. I hooked up the 7800 to my television and was disappointed to find only three of the games worked, Mrs. Pac Man, Xevious and Ballblazer. The other three, Tower Toppler, Realsports Baseball and Winter Games all acted in a very manner. On all three, the atari logo screen first appears followed by a very soft strange noise and then a distorted graphics screen on Winter Games and a blank screen on the remaining two. Mrs. Pac Man works fine but has a strange box-like discoloration in the background while playing. I have tried all of my 2600 games and they all seem to work perfectly fine. I do not know if the games somehow were ruined before being opened or wether it is my system that has a problem. If anyone has any comments they would be greatly appreciated. -nick
