How silly of me Anyone got suggestions?

Notes taken It's hosted on my own computer as i work with the site. Is it always cut off? Because IE7 does not have the greatest reputation when it comes to showing sites the right way. (as the code says its supposed to be shown) (gonna be editing that part now so it might go crazy for a while)

Update! - I learned my self some more PHP, and we got our selfs automatic alphabetic order - Added another gadget made out of PHP wich basically shows a random image every time you update or go to another page. Why? Don't know Maybe it can show a random screenshot of a game in the list? Or dear i say adverts? hah - Took the atari cartridge and stuck it as a welcome thing (i guess it is) instead of a headerish beast. Umh gonna do something smart with it tho. - Added a temporary Feedback gadget on the contact page, it uses twitter. (at least temporary position, i think it's functionality is great). What i need that you might be possible to help out with: - A written form that the author need to fill in and send to me. (only need the text, i can design a PDF out it my self) - Agreements that the author will be agreeing with if he/she wants to put his or her game on the website. (yea i don't really know what those will be about) - Suggestions on what other info might be good to know about a game. Suggest features! I want it to be nice for everyone.

Yea i discovered that in my blind world of 1920 x 1200 resolution I thought people where afraid of the big scary PDF files lol. About the sorting. I'm looking for a nice PHP solution for it, so i might just implement a nice filtering system etc.. But that will take a while sens im quite new in the PHP world. Thanks for all the feedback

Yes! i'm hosting a website that i've worked on for a while from my own computer so it's not a permanent host and up time. The website is supposed to be a place where authors can put their homebrew atari games on with info and links for download url or/and place to buy cartridge if available. It will be very simplistic and pure. VCS-Homebrew! Give all the feedback you can! Spelling, grammar, sizes, bugs, suggestions etc..! This would help a ton! Oh if you want to have your game added at the premier just follow the instructions available on the contact page Thanks!

Kinda off topic, but diid you guys know that coaxial pluggs are pretty much never used in Sweden/parts of Europe? Just to let you åll know So, what does the RF input jack look like? Just a standard RCA type jack? No threaded F connectors at all? http://www.kingey1971.com/tivo/pal_tuner_rear.jpg The one marked "RF In" is a "PAL tuner Antenna RF input" to be more exact. That's what i plug older systems into if they don't have got any other options. And just for the record as i don't know how your outputs look like, my Atari 2600 and others have the same output as the picture shows below the input. (duuhh...)

Ok i will look into that! Got to compare Acrylic plastic sheets VS Plexiglass sheet prices I'm poor Plexiglass is a brand or trademarked name for cast acrylic sheet. I doubt you need to have the actual true brand name stuff. Polycarbonate is a tougher, more scratch resistant material if you care about that. Did not know that. Plexiglass sure is one big trademark/brandname then! I could do that very quickly indeed. But is the money worth it? hm, dunno.

Very true. It will look very boxy indeed. It is a box actually Think stationary iMac's, the white ones before the aluminium ones, thats my inspiration for the material, paint on one side of a transparent sheet of whatever clear plastic and you got SHINE/BLING. Oh! Feed back on a new idea i got when plaing River Raid today! How about a reset button on a wire! Don't you just hate when you have to go all the way to the Atari just to play again? Wouldn't it be nice to have the reset button by your side, like a controller?

This is my little rough plan i have constructed in Google SketchUp the last day and a half for building my own shell for the 2600. The walls are 4 mm wide and made of something.... Here is where you come in! Recommend me a material for this project. It will be painted in a glossy white or black and look extremely sharp, have chrome pushbuttons instead of the original switches (that are modeled in sketchup for now) and be quite small so the material will have to be though. I'm thinking Acrylic panels or something like that.

Any homebrew games that are available either by download or cartridge, limited or not are welcome to be added on the website. If the game is limited the author will have to tell me when it's unavailable OR have a button that allows users to report unavailable games or other problems with links and such. If a link is dead, and i get no answer from the author about what's going on, i will remove the game from the site after a while. Unwelcome games are WIP games, hacked games or what i would like to call "broken" games. Now what defines a "broken game" is not clear at this moment, as i haven't found any broken games yet, so that will probably not be something that will pop up very often. Updating of the site will probably be scheduled once or twice a week so i don't work too much with the site. (seen lots of projects go down the drain because of overworking)
