  1. The problem with the DreamCast is that the video output is 4:3 and most TVs and monitors do not support it. If you give them a 4:3 signal then the monitor will stretch the image to fit the screen creating distortions. Some converter devices do have a switch that will allow you to go between 4:3 and 16:9 to allow for proper scaling but the device you listed does not have such a switch. Therefore, you need to ensure that your TV can support proper 4:3 before pulling the trigger on such devices.
  2. It's an open source ROM dumper. The unit shown has multiple cartridge ports including one for GBA games and a controller plug for the N64 so you can dump the Controller Packs. Even though there are adapters you can attach to it for Atari carts I would like to see a deluxe version that includes pretty much all systems plus a DreamCast controller plug for dumping the VMUs, a card port for GameCube save cartridges, one for OG Xbox, and one for PS1/2.
  3. The only way this is going to happen is if you do an all-in-one Atari box that not only does the Jag but the 2600, 5200, 7800, and Lynx (and maybe throw in the ST while we're at it). The Jag has too small a user base to make it a standalone box.
  4. I would like to see Lords of the Rising Sun and Wings.
  5. Nothing wrong with the Recharged version but I want to know if they are going to release the original arcade versions of both Berzerk and Frenzy.
  6. The compilations need to be programmed to accept them through either an adapter such as the 2600-Daptor, the newer ICode adapter (which I happen to have), or having them converted to USB and I do not think they have unless it is something of an Easter Egg similar to the hidden encoder feature in Tempest 2000 (Jaguar). With that said, they can be patched if there is enough interest.
  7. In the early 90's I spent a year gametesting for Broderbund Software and I helped test both the DOS and Amiga versions of PoP. I'm curious to see how they could do this if Ubisoft would let them. Fun fact: one of the other testers was bored with the game and he decided to try to play the game only using the sound cues from the built-in speaker and with the monitor turned off thus going in blindfolded. I believe that he made it about 75% of the way through.
  8. Is it of Britney Spears?
  9. Since you listed the GTA games I also recommend Bully which is also done by Rockstar Games.
  10. I got one of these too with hopes of maybe getting it to work with T2K on the Jaguar some day.
  11. Have you looked at the Wii U modding scene to see if they've had success in getting around some of these problems? I've also heard that there are some who are trying to use modded Switches in place of the tablet but I have not read up on that lately.
  12. Or you could just softmod it and put everything onto a Micro SD card with appropriate adapter so you would no longer need to use the UMD drive. However, I also understand that there are those who wish to keep theirs stock so this is helpful for those with this problem. Personally, I now use my PS Vita with Adrenaline to play all of my PSP games.
