  1. Hey thanks. I am not willing to pay 30 bucks for 2 controllers, that's quite a bit taking into consideration I bought my console and a few games for 5.00. It was the best they could do. Go figure.
  2. Weren't 50 Secret Agent protos sold at this past year's CGE fiesta or were they just copies? I saw a few of them up on E-bay shortly after the Expo.
  3. That may be true but there were at least 4 or 5 other bidders willing to pay serious money for the "proto (?)", including some members of this board. I have to admit it did make me curious as well but I most certainly would not have paid over $50 for this. I e-mailed the seller and recieved a somewhat disorganized response.
  4. Haha. "In perfect working condition, no power supply". You gotta love that.
  5. Actually I have never been to the Jockey Lot. I tend not to travel too far from home. My wife gets annoyed with me taking the car for half the day on Saturday's as it is. "By the way, honey, I am going to need the car all weekend to drive all through the southeast looking for Atari and NES games.".....*smack*...."No you're not!". There are several GREAT flea markets in the immediate Columbia area here and a new one is on the way. It's supposed to be gigantic. The best thing about the flea markets here is that they are open year-round.Couple that with the fact there are not too many people "down with Atari" here. One of these days I will take a trip to GA and hit up some of those flea markets in the rural areas.
  6. Holy cow. That would really stink if it actually wasn't a proto.
  7. Hmmm...maybe you need to get up earlier than all those other people who list Atlanta as their location...
  8. Great idea. Sounds like an incredible amount of effort tho. I surely wouldn't even come close to having the patience to try that. So like if I sent you my 2600 and an NES controller to you could do the same to mine?
  9. Hey, it was fun battling with you on that Decathalon patch. Next time I won't go so easy on you.
  10. Hey everyone. I am looking to buy/trade for 2 controllers for the ol' Bally Astrovision system. And I am also looking for some extra games if anyone has. I haven't seen any individual games for sale on E-bay lately. Thanks! atariversusnes@aol.com
  11. Hey everyone. I am kinda new to the idea of emulating games on my computer. Can anyone give me some info on how to get started, what joysticks are recommended, etc. I would appreciate it. Thanks!
  12. I think the moral of this story is DO NOT SELL/TRADE with people you do not know off of E-bay. I did it once, got burned and I was FURIOUS for days at my stupidity. You will probably get your games this time but next time may be different. (I think to this day I am still upset over that transaction, or half-transaction for that matter.)Just a little rant.
  13. I have had that happen many times on E-bay. Sumguy will "inform" me that the auction is probly going to be cancelled and if I would be willing to sell off E-bay. I mean, come on, you know 9 times out of 10 that same guy reported you. I tried selling a Parnesian game for Nintendo a while back and the auction was cancelled due to it's content or whatever lame excuse E-bay gave. Shortly thereafter I got an e-mail from a nutcase offering me 10 bucks for it. I didn't waste my time to respond. Those games sell well over $200. A shame. I would hope this is not going to happen with Atari protos because I, like many others, have a great deal of interest in these.
  14. I've seen ALL of those games on E-bay in the last week or two.
