Atari Lynx Poster Manuals Gallery
August 10, 2003
Posted by Albert Submit News | Archives

Lynx Poster Manuals GalleryFor several Atari Lynx games, Atari created full-color poster-style manuals, as opposed to the typical booklet style manual. These fold out posters measure roughly 17" x 22" (except for Block Out, which is a bit smaller) and were folded several times in order to fit in the small Lynx boxes. Scanning these posters was no small feat, and thanks go out to Tony "Xot" Morse for scanning each side of these monsters in two overlapping pieces, which we were then able to stitch together using commercial image stitching software. Atari only produced a small number of poster manuals for the Lynx before reverting back to booklet style manuals. You can browse these manuals in our Lynx Poster Manuals Gallery, as well as from the entry for each game in our rarity database.

August 3, 2003
Posted by Albert Submit News | Archives

You control both guns in an effort to shoot all the targets that appear while being careful not to shoot the gun on the opposite side of the screen. Also, if you shoot one of the barriers your shot is reflected back at you and you have to get out of the way (hence the name Backfire).
