This was the only game from the Realsports line of 2600 and 5200 sports titles to make it to the 7800 library. Realsports Baseball is regarded by some as one of the worst games for the 7800. In fact, it is actually worse than the 5200 version of the title. The graphics are very simplistic, and the audio is terrible. Though the game features a nice selection of nine pitches and three swings, the base runners are painfully slow and fielding control is confusing. The game's only saving grace may be that the computer is tough to beat, but this is mainly due to the fact that there are only five places you can hit the ball to get on base and one of those is over the fence.
