Atari Lynx (Model # PAG0201)

The original Lynx system, sometimes called the "Lynx Classic". The Lynx was the world's first color portable handheld game system, introduced in 1989. Originally called the "Handy", it was designed by Epyx who sold the idea to Atari when it became evident that Epyx could not release the system themselves due to financial problems. The screen is backlit and has a resolution of 160 x 102, and the system has 64K of RAM.

Atari Lynx II (Model # PAG3201)

Atari released the Lynx II in 1991. It is slightly smaller and weighs less than the original. Battery life is longer, a power LED was added, and cartridges are easier to insert. The headphone jack now supports stereo sound, although the internal speaker is not as loud.

Lynx Sun Visor (Model # PAG3400)

This accessory can either fold down to protect the Lynx screen when not in use, or fold up to block the sun from the screen when playing outdoors. This model works only on the original Lynx.

Lynx II Sun Visor (Model # PAG3425)

Lynx AC Adapter (Model # PAG1200)

Unless you enjoy spending money on batteries, this is a pretty important accessory to have. Given that the Lynx is a huge power drain on batteries, you'll want to use this anytime you're near a power outlet (although the Lynx Battery Pack below will power the Lynx for a considerable length of time).

Lynx Battery Pack (Model # PAG3325)

This pack holds six D-cell batteries and has a belt clip for convenience. Six batteries should provide power for up to 20 hours of use.

Lynx Cigarette Lighter Adapter (Model # PAG3300)

This standard cigarette adapter will power two Lynxes at the same time. Multiplayer in the car!

Lynx ComLynx Cable (Model # PAG3200)

This cable connects multiple Lynxes together for multiplayer games. It was included with the system in the original Lynx package.

Lynx Carrying Pouch (Model # PAG3375)

This carrying case holds a Lynx, 24 game cards, and some accessories. It has a wrist strap or belt loop for portability.

Lynx Carrying Case (Model # PAG3350)

This is a good size carrying case that will comfortably hold the Lynx, AC Adapter, ComLynx cables, and plenty of your favorite games. It has a convenient carrying handle and a shoulder strap. Perfect for those long trips when you want to bring it all along.
